“Sara was literally a life saver and if I can leave any bride with advice - it’s to hire a day of coordinator! My venue told me I didn’t need one because I was assigned someone to help me during planning, a ceremony coordinator and staff that would help with any task needed the day of but I wanted someone who truly represented me and knew my vision. As a “”type A”” I had the hardest time knowing that I wouldn’t be able to problem solve and execute my vision myself but having Sara there in my place made my day flow seamless. I knew she would execute my vision as if it was her own wedding. Her attention to detail, passion, leadership and problem-solving skills are outstanding. Sara was by my side a couple of months prior to my wedding, she checked in with me to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. Month of, we ran through the timeline together, met in person for brunch and she requested copies of all my decor instructions, contracts, seating chart, guest names, etc. Little did I know our venue wasn’t able to provide the support that I was initially offered, and Sara came to the rescue the day of. What was supposed to be a simple day of coordination turned into her managing all of vendors and ensuring that every décor and flower detail I wanted was executed flawlessly! She didn’t bother me with any of it. She completely handled it and made me feel so calm and collected! Sara not only made my ceremony and reception area beautiful but oversaw the décor and flower transition from the ceremony to the reception area. This was not an easy task for I was repurposing all the flowers and décor to maximize my investments. Sara made this complicated task happen smoothly. Sara also checked on me all night (not hovering) so that any time I happened to be alone she was there to help with any request. I planned my wedding my whole life and I can honestly say it was truly a magical event. I can’t thank Sara enough for everything she did on my wedding day. She is the best and I highly recommend her!”

Sara went above and beyond throughout the entire process, often texting just to check in with me and make sure I was OK or had everything I needed for every step along the way (dress fitting, purchasing/renting equipment, coordinating a caterer, etc.) I had very limited ideas for what I wanted in a wedding, and Sara not only helped me develop those ideas into a real plan in a very short amount of time, but also provided resources so that every single detail was exactly as I envisioned. Not only was she able to facilitate my dream wedding during a global pandemic, but she was also able to find us a last-minute, amazing photographer (within our budget!) just FOUR days before our event! “Working with Sara and her whole Rainbow Weddings & Events team was the best decision we made when planning our wedding! She brought so much talent, organization, professionalism, warmth, and inclusivity to the planning process and the wedding itself. Every step of the way, she supported our vision and celebrated our choices, but also didn’t hesitate to gently guide us to better choices when needed. She was able to do that because she really got to know us as individuals and as a couple; she’s a great listener and has a kind heart. And she brings to the table an incredible group of vendors! “While most wedding guests compliment the food, venue, or music, the compliment I have received the most since my wedding has been “I’m obsessed with your wedding coordinator!” Sara and her team took care of every single little detail on the day of our wedding so that my wife and I could enjoy our day. They were also so kind, friendly, and respectful to all of our guests and vendors, and I felt complete trust that anything that came up would be quickly and easily taken care of. Sara saved little mementos from our wedding that we wouldn’t have thought to save. She had drinks waiting for us at the end of our ceremony. “First we have to say, our wedding was perfect! It went off without a hitch, and Sara helped us find the perfect venue, caterer, DJ and other design elements that made our day very special.
We were originally set get married in September 2020, but then the pandemic hit, and we had to postpone twice. Sara was very kind to work with us, and facilitate with our venue to make sure we could keep it over the 3 years 😅. We got married at the Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina and it is the most magical, beautiful place. We wouldn’t have found it without Sara. My wife and I are both from Bay Areas, we said water. And she found it for us!
She answered every anxious question, solved so many problems, and worked with our budget as things changed. Sara guided us to the best vendors and I’m looking for an excuse to hire our DJ again - JustINtertainment was that good. I love how organized (we are both the queens of spreadsheets!), thoughtful, and precise Sara and her team are. From our rehearsal, to getting down the aisle, to our reception space with my 100s of little details, they executed it perfectly.
As someone who is anxious and struggles to make decisions and doesn’t trust my own opinion, Sara was really good at guiding me and my wife back to our why, and our vision and trusted we would make the best decisions. But when I was really freaking out, very calmly, Sara provided advice and shared options that made it really easy for me to make decisions. I will always cherish that.
